ReLIB Project Wins RSC Horizon Prize

Members of the ReLIB project in the Materials Centre (Dr Sean Scott, Dr Jake Yang, Prof. Karl Ryder, Prof. Andy Abbott, Ethan Cheung, Dr Jennifer Hartley and Dr Chunhong Lei - unpictured) along with partners University of Birmingham, University of Edinburgh, Imperial College London, Newcastle University, University of Oxford and UCL were awarded the prestigious RSC Environment, Sustainability and Energy Horizon Prize: John Jeyes Prize. This was awarded for 6 years of transformative research and influence leading to the establishment for a technology pipeline for low cost, high throughput, and low environmental impact lithium ion-battery recycling.
